Proposal for Final Project
You are to come up with an original project and work on it. The project should show your creativity and connect in some way to the work of a famous genius. You may use your genius from before or research a new individual. Find two articles about this and explain how they connect: you could do a piece of music, a piece of writing, an engineering plan, an art work, an original invention. Complete the information below for Wednesday, we will work in the lab on Thursday, and you will present your information on Friday.
1. Give a description of what your project will be.
2. What is your goal in creating the project? What do you hope to learn?
3. List the materials that you will need to complete the project.
4. What are the steps you need to follow in order to complete the project? Write down the procedures you will follow; you should have at least five steps.
5. How long will you need to complete the project? You should spend at least two hours outside of class on this project. Create a time line for project.
6. How did your creative genius serve as a model for your discovery?
7. Rubric--write down a checklist of things that your project should incorporate so that you know you have been successful.
This proposal is due Wednesday, July 9th. The project is due Friday, July 11h.
