Canterbury Tales Prologue Assignment
Go to the Canterbury Tales at the above link. In the first dialogue box in the left scroll down and choose Modern English unless you prefer a different translation.
In the next dialogue box choose the prologue.
Be sure that the pagination is turned off, this will allow you to see the entire tale without breaking it into line chunks of 15 or 30 to a page.
Read the first lines (1-42) of the prologue until the introduction of the Knight's character. Make notes on imagery, language, possible emergent themes.
